Embroidery Day in Ukraine: national unity holiday.
The purpose of the holiday is to preserve and popularize folk traditions of creating and wearing embroidered Ukrainian clothes.

I was born and raised in Ukraine. Even though I Live in Los Angeles now, I am grateful for the values I was raised with.

💙Ukrainians have strong family values. Family is extremely important and many old traditions are still very much a part of family life today. Family life in Ukraine is built around respect towards older generations.

💛It is very important for Ukrainian families to stay close. They are known for their good hospitality and love to visit their family that lives far away.

💙Ukrainians are very friendly and welcoming. They love large groups and gatherings and always help each other.

💛Ukrainians prefer to eat at home, leaving restaurants for special occasions. Must have meals include, any kind of soup for lunch, meat, fish, and organic vegetables and fruits.

💙Traditional Ukrainian food products are usually domestic. People usually grow products in their home gardens and dachas.
