John Deere 1025R. I have problems with my front end loader. It can't raise more than 6 to 8 inches from the ground. This morning it was working fine when I used it to move my mower deck with the Load n' Go. However after I finished mowing my lawn, I wanted to detach the mower deck but I could not move the front end loader more than 6 to 8 inches from the ground. It seems to stop like it was stuck somehow. We can even ear the engine struggling to lift the loader, like if it was stuck. I cannot see anything that could be the culprit.


I tried to removed the whole front end loader, It does unlatch from its base but I cannot raise it enough to clear its clamps. If you have any ideas, please let me know.


Presently I am waiting for the tractor to cool off, so I can check the level of the hydraulic oil, maybe it is only that.

I got the answer on the green tractor forum.
I had to disconnect and reconnect the four fittings. Then it was working. I found this peculiar because it has been weeks of using the front loader regularly without problem.
