This footage was originally shot on a Sony Hi8 camcorder in 2003. Way before widescreen tvs and high definition. I have however been able to enhance and modify my original footage to Widescreen and High definition. Using just a Huawei Matepad pro tablet and the power director app. Nearly 21 years since I shot these clips but now they look fresh and sharp like they were filmed yesteday. This video has over 2 hours worth of footage for you to enjoy. Including a tour around Concorde Engineering and on board G-BOAF, Alpha Fox landing at Filton. Boeing 747s which we don't see daily and Airbus A340s which are retired . These clips remain the copyright of myself Jason Harmsworth. The music used is copyright free and the artists credited on the clips containing their music.
I still can't believe nearly 21 years on since we lost Concorde. The world has got bigger and planes have too but we are no closer to supersonic passenger travel than we were when Concorde retired. I hope Boom Overature happens, but it's not gonna be until 2030 at least. Nearly 30 years since Concorde retired.
Some of this footage has noise stutter due to the original tapes degrading after 20 years.
A big shout out to my friend Steve Shaw who was with me shooting all this footage for history
