It seems that every cheese sauce recipe I come across is either full of fat or soy (and expensive speciality products). this one is so simple, healthy and low calorie that I could eat it by the spoonful and have zero guilt.
Each time I make this it comes out a little different, so the quantities listed are very approximate. Taste it as you go and modify as desired.
Ingredients:
1 cup potatoes
1/2 cup carrots (or more)
Handful of banana peppers (depending on how spicy you like it)
1-2 Tbsp white vinegar
2-3 Tbsp nutritional yeast
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp salt
Perfect on pizza, nachos, steamed veg, macaroni and anywhere else your imagination takes you.
