In this video Jeff walks you through his setup and how he dives his DiveRite OptimaCM rebreather. The setup works great for boat divers, wreck divers, and mixed groups of OC & CCr divers.
The back-mounted LP50s have become a staple for Choptima divers. Jeff's option of forgoing the manifold allows two independent gases without the possibility of cross contamination. One lower O2 mix and one higher O2 offer several options in the way of dive plans and bailout options.
The simplicity of the Choptima and this setup mean the addition of other off-boarded gas doesn't complicate the rig much, and very much builds on OC diving standards and stage bottle setups.
