Aging is a natural process that catches up with all of us, and that includes celebrities too. This is one
reality that binds us all together. Every passing second, as time ticks, it takes its toll on both the poor
and the rich.
There is a difference between everyday people who age and celebrities who age, well, primarily
because all eyes are on them.
We have gotten so accustomed to their young cute faces that we wish they would remain young
forever. However, because this is an impossibility, we have had no choice but to see a lot of our
celebrities who were really adorable youngsters go through the aging process; some gracefully, and
others, well, not so nicely.
For those in the showbiz, looks are everything. The more appealing you look, the better for you. This
has made a number of celebrities attempt to slow down their aging through various means.
However, this has not ended well for some.
In addition, due to many issues that these stars encounter in the course of their career, efforts to
put off aging have proven impossible. For instance, either as a result of many injections and
numerous plastic surgeries, or addictions to drugs and alcohol; the hands of the clock for these ones
have stubbornly refused to slow down.
For whatever reason, it is undeniable that these celebrities have lost their childhood cuteness and
youthful appeal; and succumbed to the ever waiting hands of time.
We present to you, ten child celebs who could not outrun time and therefore aged badly.
#10 – Amanda Bynes

Coming in on number ten is the actress, Amanda Bynes. Born in 1986 in Thousand Oaks, California,
this child star went from being a sensation to becoming a troubled and retired actress. Here is how it
all played out.
Bynes started her career in the late 1990s and early 2000s by starring in the Nickelodeon comedy
shows, “All That”, and “The Amanda Show” when she was just thirteen years old. Her role as actress
and host earned her one of the prominent awards that every kid her age dreamed of, “The
Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards”.
She went on to display her amazing talents in several other endeavors and captivated viewers with
her stunning performances. We remember her from the hit series “What I like About You”, and

was simply unstoppable…or so we thought.
Fast forward to a few years later in her career, Bynes announced out of the blue that she was
retiring from acting, and from then on, she sort of faded into an obscure world of her own.

The now low-profile retired actress has gone through her own deal of struggles with illegal
substance abuse and even got into some trouble with the law. And all these not-so-good situations
definitely took a toll on her appearance and demeanor.

#9 – Lark Voorhies
Lark Voorhies was a teenage actress many grew up to love. Young 90s kids emulated her style and
envied her personality and charm. It’s such a surprise to see that all that is a thing of the past as she
now looks completely different and transformed.
Her performance as Lisa Marie Turtle on the NBC sitcom made her a household name and even won
her several awards. She was a pretty face and an absolute sweetheart. So, what happened to Lark
Voorhies.
Well, her transformation over the years has been linked to drug addiction and struggles with mental
illness (schizoaffective disorder). These have unfortunately made the actress a shadow of her former
self.

#8 – Angus T. Jones

The little boy from “Two and a Half Men” is now a whole man of his own, and he is barely
recognizable too, with his beard and long hair.
The now 26 years old Texas-born was best known for playing Jake Harper in one of America’s biggest
TV shows. His role earned him several awards including two Young Artist Awards and a TV Land
Award. He played this role for over ten years until he was written out in Season ten following a rant
he made about the show’s morality. He however came back for a cameo at the end of the show, and
that was literally the end.
Angus has now moved on and now attends the University of Colorado and been up to quite a bit. He
surely calls the shots for his life, and that includes the change in his once cute appearance.
