Now, outta respect for Jamal and everything he built over at SBTV, I’ve decided not to monetise this video, but yeah, last night we were all made aware of some real sad news man, as just aged 31, Jamal Edwards is said to have passed away. The reasoning behind his unexpected death is of course not even relevant right now, but as more details come out, I’ll keep you updated on the whole situation. In all honesty, I’ve never really had to touch on something like this on the channel before, I mean, Jamal was one of the most impactful and legendary figures to ever touch the UK Music scene, the overall mark he’s left on the UK urban scene is honestly, mind-blowing. Not only setting up a platform for the artists, but setting a foundation for them to continue growing. He’s made his name in discovering talent, offering opportunities, he’s continued to become an author, a director, an interviewer, a DJ, a man who would be an ambassador for mental health and well-being. Just a real creative inspiring future creations. So, Rest In Peace to Jamal Edwards and condolences to his family; you really inspired a generation bro, and left a legacy behind that not only you, but the whole of the UK Music world can strive for and be proud of.
