Who will be victorious - shark or octopus - in the board game Kelp? Kelp is a 2-player, head-to-head battle between a shark and an octopus. It’s an asymmetrical game that offers each player their own unique paths to victory. The shark uses a dice bag building mechanic and the octopus uses a deck building, hidden tile mechanic. We love the asymmetrical concept behind the game, but the heavy luck factor of the shark’s mechanics can make the shark overpowered in some games and equally balanced in others. We’ll give you all of our thoughts in our full video review.
Which is your favorite? The shark or the octopus? Let us know in the comments below.
