Here is a guide to MANAGING CONTRACTUAL RISKS: [ Ссылка ]
When we talk about supply chain and supply networks there are 2 things that you need to understand:
• Upstream operations
• And downstream operations
Because supply chain can be defined as:
A group of partners who collectively convert basic commodity into finished product that is valued by end-customer, and who manage returns at each stage.
From this definition we see two things
1. The “conversion of a basic commodity” this entails upstream operations
2. Finished products - this involves downstream operations
The connection to upstream and downstream operations is what will give you supply chain and when there are multiple tiers suppliers and customers in the chain you end up with supply network.
