Thomas Ryman is most famous for using his funds to help build the Ryman in downtown Nashville. What most don't know is that it was built to hold religious revivals inside. Mr. Ryman was inspired after going to a tent revival and heard Sam Jones speak. Mr. Ryman was also a humble man who refused to allow them to name the building after him.
