Her maiden voyage back in June when we went camping just north about 40 minutes at a cool free camp called Termeil Point.

Its a 2WD track in however if it has been raining I would strongly recommend a 4WD or a larger 2WD for that matter as the holes were quite deep & body and full of water. The road then branches off 2 ways, 1 camp ground is tents only and you must park and walk into your spot. The other (where we camped) was (from memory) 12 designated spaces each with their own fire pit. There are no showers at this spot just drop toilets. It is a very clean camp site with great bush coverage overhead and only a short walk to the beach. Around this area are 2 great beaches and some nice walks around the headlands. They are surf beaches so not the greatest if you have small children like us however there is a bit of a lake/river or inlet (not sure if I would swim in there but the kids could splash in it) with would be great for kayaking and exploring.

We love this spot and will be back.
