In this episode of the NCBeerBuzz we sit down and talk with Ryan Self, Sales Manager, at the The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery (OMB). OMB is located in the heart of south Charlotte at 215 Southside Dr and produces premium, all natural beer and delivers it fresh to bars, restaurants and retailers in the region. OMB believes that "premium quality beer requires premium quality ingredients, and there are only four ingredients that should go into beer (Barley or wheat malt, hops, yeast and pure water)." They adhere strictly to the Reinheitsgebot - the German original Beer Purity Law of 1516, which prohibits the use of inferior ingredients . Look for OMB on tap throughout the Charlotte region, in growler bottles at your local retailer or just go straight to the brewery's great taproom and taste the difference. We did!
