I purchased this clock radio off of ebay a few weeks ago in "working condition". When I received the unit the radio worked really well aside from dirty pots but the clock was totally dead. Upon opening the radio to attempt to fix the clock, I was expecting dried up lubrication, to find the clock motor was gone. So I emailed the seller and let them know what I'd found and they immediately issued me a refund. So in looking for the clock motor on ebay I found the whole assembly on ebay new old stock supposedly. When I received the mechanism it was obviously used and parts fell out of it. Amazingly enough it does run so I installed it in the clock. The alarm is non-functional but it keeps perfect time and the sleep timer works. No big deal I use my phone for the alarm anyway. I still have the old one so at some point I may try to fix the alarm but I'm in no hurry for that as it's adequate for my use as-is. Thanks for watching!
