Class M4 is a Canadian Montreal Locomotive Works built locomotive of model MX-620 imported in 1975 to Sri Lanka. This cab view was filmed during a ride from Polonnaruwa Railway Station to Baticaloa Railway Station on 21.09.2016. The Train was Udaya Devi Express Train.

Udaya Devi (Sinhala: උදය දේවි) is an Express train that runs between Colombo Fort and Batticaloa in Sri Lanka. Batticaloa-bound train departs from Colomobo at 6.05 a.m. while Colombo-bound train departs from Batticaloa at 6.10 a.m.
Class M4 Locomotive of Sri Lanka Railways | MX-620
The Sri Lanka Railways M4 is a class of diesel-electric locomotive manufactured in Canada by Montreal Locomotive Works. Fourteen of the manufacturers' model MX-620 were imported in 1975.
This was the longest locomotive in the Sri Lanka Railways previously. All units are still operational. On regular operation they are not used beyond Polgahawela on the main line, and are not used on the hill country section. They used to travel on the full main line regularly until some where around 2000.
They are painted in a livery of dark blue, light blue, silver with yellow striping; although No. 752 Point Pedro was painted in a special ICE (Intercity Express) livery.
