Comedian Ali Likely to Join TDP | Ali Meets CM Chadnrababu | Ali set to contest from TDP in 2019 | Y5 Tv
Ali is close to Pawan Kalyan who is set to launch his own party soon and at one point of time it was said that Ali would be joining his buddy from the film industry. Ali acted in almost all the films that Pawan had acted in. But it now appears that Ali has decided to ride on the cycle and may be asked to contest from Rajahmundry Lok Sabha constituency as the party senior leader and film actor Murali Mohan does not want to contest the elections.
However, Ali, it is said, is keen to contest from Guntur (East) for the Assembly as this constituency has a majority of Muslim voters. A final decision on whether to field Ali in Guntur or from Rajahmundry will be taken soon, party sources said. It is learnt that the decision to rope in Ali was made at a meeting Ali had with senior TDP leaders including MP Sujana Chowdary.
