Guys, we’ve moved! Yes after years of scrolling through Rightmove and viewing tons of flats, we’ve finally bought a flat in a beautiful classic Edwardian London building. And we can like change it however we like! I thought I’d share our renovation plans so you can tell us your opinions, because seriously any advice is welcome.

- David and I have always rented
- this place is so rundown, we have to renovate it completely!
- great bones
- flat in an 1800s house!
- since the house is an old beauty, we want to restore it to its former glory
- two bedrooms, one living room, a huge kitchen / dining / lounge plus balcony
- we’ve never renovated anything before
- the living room, the hallway, and the two bedrooms = restored hardwood floor
- we want the patina and history of an old house
- turn of the century old wood floor
- opening up the wall into one of the bedrooms
- my new office
- double doors in a turn-of-the-century style
- changing the windows into classic white mullioned ones
- the bathroom is way due its time for an update
- utility room for the washer dryer
- our favourite bathroom design brand,VitrA
- quirky but still clean and simple and timeless
- Nordic style and design in UK period building
- porcelain tiles with a terrazzo look
- a place for decor and books = a massive visual feature of the flat
- we’re really going a bit overboard !
- our favourite kitchen brand = Danish brand Reform Copenhagen
- sleek simple gorgeous cabinet fronts in natural oak or greige/sand-toned linoleum
- the huge raw loft!
- loft extension = full height
- a cinema room for David
- we have a LOT of work to do
- a complete mess with holes in the wall, dysfunctional plumbing, leaning creaky floors
- massive potential
