Residents at Zikhuba village outside Mbizana in the Eastern Cape have accused the Mbizana Local municipality of negligence, after they failed to build a bridge that will assist learners in getting to school. A bridge that was built by the community was washed away nineteen years ago. During the rainy season, floods prevent dozens of learners from getting to school.
