Nowhere is the “doing good, works” mindset more critical than with the co-op’s relationships with employees, taking an active approach in helping to address systemic barriers to employee success and economic mobility by providing access to subsidized childcare, transportation, second chance hiring practices, and an apprenticeship program through its Breaking Down Barriers to Employment initiative, which works to provide these important services to employees and individuals in the community.
