Gustav Mahler
Symphony No.3 D minor / d moll
1st Violin part sheet music , orchestra
2nd Violin → [ Ссылка ]
The Symphony No. 3 in D minor by Gustav Mahler was written between 1895 and 1896.
The performance time is from about 90 to about 105 minutes.
It was listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the longest symphony, both as Marler's symphony and as a symphony picked up in regular concerts, as "the longest symphony in the world".
Originally conceived with 7 movements, the last movement was separated into the 4th movement of Symphony No.4.
For this reason, the two works are musically related, such as the same melody material being found in the 5th movement of the 3rd symphony and the 4th movement of the 4th symphony.
