The Mitsubishi ASX has been on Australia roads longer than Chasing Cars has been reviewing cars and is probably older than many people watching this video.

Making its debut in the new ES Street pack, the ASX continues its focused value play in the Australian market with the allure of reliability and a 10-year warranty.

However, the small SUV segment is now very competitive, with the likes of the Skoda Kamiq and Subaru Crosstrek strong options for those looking for a new small SUV.

It’s not hard to find negatives with the ASX and yet its a strong seller in Australia but why is that? In today’s review founder Tom Baker investigates.
