A New Year’s Day tradition, this Black Eyed Pea Soup is incredibly easy to make, healthy and so very delicious. Made with ham hocks (or leftover holiday ham) and a homemade Creole spice blend. Serve over brown rice with my Mom’s Old Fashioned Cornbread for a Southern soul food way to ring in the year.
