This week pigs arrive on the homestead, and we show you how to prepare for them!
Pigs need the same thing every animal does, food, water, and shelter. That said, they have some very specific needs compared to other animals.
First, the water bucket that works for sheep, goats, chickens, does not work for pigs. They will nock over buckets all day.
Pigs need access to lots of food, so a bucket of feed will not suffice either.
Finally, they need some shade and a hiding place from the wind.
