Mike's Car Wash and Crew Car Wash are one of the oldest chains of car washes still operating today. It was founded in 1948. Through many years of car washing, they still operate today, with 86 locations in Indiana, Minnesota, Ohio, and Kentucky. Mike's offers 5 wash package options, ranging from $11 to $29, and "early bird washes" where you can save anywhere from $2 to $5 from the wash you choose. Since this was filmed on Black Friday (11/29), I got $5 off the $29 wash, making it $24.
It was impressive how fast the wash was, they could get cars in and out. The heated drying system by Aerotherm is also a fascinating piece of equipment to see, the heated aspect of it is interesting. It is done through a heater located at the exit of the wash, with pipes running to some of the blower intakes which then the air is taken in and is pushed through the blower, making the air coming out of the blower heated. I could feel the heat from the blower inside the car.
Overall, I enjoyed this wash and I recommend it as a place to get your car washed. Even though it is a little more expensive than your typical car wash, they provide quality service and excellent customer care.
