Asheika Alexander from NAIA Langston University was invited to take part in training camp with the WNBA's Minnesota Lynx after being selected to the BCSN NAIA Women's First Team this past season. The senior forward led the Sooner Athletic Conference in scoring average at 21.75 points per game and was a key cog in leading Langston to their first berth in the SAC Women's Basketball championship game and first berth under head coach Elaine Powell to the NAIA Women's Basketball National Tournament.
