Here is a glimpse of the beauty you can enjoy on the Goshikinuma trail.

There are 5 ponds of a stunning range of different blue colors that can be enjoyed from several different angles all the way.

This trail is a very easy 3.9 km trail that can be enjoyed as a family (suitable for kids and elder people).

These ponds surfaced after the eruption of Mt Bandai 1888. The color is due to the mineral allophane (made up of aluminium and silicic acid) that has been released by the volcano at the time and the high acidic level of the water. is said that the colors will change over decades because of its natural elements.

There are 19 trails of different levels (from super easy to very hard) that cover 80 km in the area so I believe it is perfect for trekking and nature lovers.
