Two public workshops were held on July 26 (virtual) and July 28, 2022 (in-person) to gather feedback and input on an initial array of preliminary alternative plans develeloped for the Ala Wai Flood Risk Management General Reevaluation Study. The workshops presented results of the study process to-date, presented an initial array of alternative plans, and gathered community input and feedback on the alternative plans presented.
The workshops provided the public an opportunity to discuss and provide input on an initial array of alternative flood risk management plans, prior to the development of the final array of alternatives plan and selection of a recommended plan. Each alternative comprised a suite of management measures that work together to manage flood risk.
