A food dehydration system developed for underprivileged communities has scooped gold at the recent Eskom Science Expo regional competition in Gqeberha in the Eastern Cape.
The project developed by twins Musawethu and Bongumusa Williams is looking to tackle food wastage in rural areas lacking refrigeration and electricity.
