Who is the villain in the new Disney+ show? This is just one of many questions we at Screen Rant have about the Clint Barton TV series. The legendary archer from the Avengers will be joined by Kate Bishop, his junior version, for his new streaming limited series, and us geek megaminds at Screenrant are excited to see what secrets this latest Marvel Cinematic Universe phase has to offer. What new characters will be set up, which heroes and villains might return, and how will the status quo shift as we move onwards through the shared universe of Phase 4?
For example - will we see Kingpin from the Netflix MCU shows? Will there be loose ends from the Black Widow post-credits scene to tie up? Might we see a Thunderbolts origin? Is it going to be a Ms Marvel preview, an Ironheart trailer? Will the Jeremy Renner app make an appearance? Unlikely, but we do know that it’s going to be a Christmas comic book adventure, with the crimes of Ronin coming home to roost. Will Hailee Steinfeld be playing Madame Masque? Also unlikely! But you never know!
Even if this is just a stepping stone on the way to Spider-Man: No Way Home, The Eternals and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, we can look forward to some top-tier action and festive frolics.
We might even find out what really happened in Budapest!
