STORYLINE
Israeli forces killed a Palestinian militant in a West Bank refugee camp Tuesday, hospital officials said.
The man belonged to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), a small radical group, witnesses said.
The military said troops identified two armed men in the camp in the city of Nablus and opened fire, hitting one.
Gunfire could be heard emerging from the raided area, and smoke was seen rising from houses.
Garbage containers were on fire in the street after Israeli forces' left.
