Neolamprologus caudopunctatus is a species of cichlid endemic to Lake Tanganyika in Africa. It has a silvery beige colored body, very attractive, goldish-orange dorsal fin and blue eyes. Its tail, fin and flanks have pearly spots that are visible if the light hits them at the correct angle.

Very easy fish and low maintenance. They like hard water, High PH and warmer water between 78-80’F. They are small fish and can be bred in colony and barely eat their fry if you feed them well.
