Ordinary and Extraordinary Council Meetings are conducted in accordance with Council's adopted Code of Meeting Practice Policy.
Ordinary Council Meetings are held at 6:30pm on the last Wednesday of every month, unless changed by a resolution of Council.
Extraordinary Council Meetings may be held at other times throughout the year to consider urgent matters that must be dealt with prior to the next scheduled Ordinary Council Meeting.

Council Business Papers are made publicly available and are uploaded on to Council's website the Monday prior to the Ordinary Monthly Council Meeting and can also be viewed at the Broken Hill City Library or at Council's Administrative Centre.
Minutes from Council meetings are made publicly available as soon possible after they have been confirmed at the following monthly meeting.
