A young boy was rescued at a shopping center after getting his hand stuck in a moving escalator in the south China city of Hechi on Monday. The incident took place when the toddler was trying to play with the handrail, at the end of the escalator, while waiting for his mother with his elder sister. Firefighters arrived moments later and managed to free the boy's hand, after taking the handrail panel apart. The boy only sustained minor injuries.
