Welcome to PART 3, THE FINALE of my epic fuel comparison!!! The debate seems to never end here in British Columbia, Canada... "Which fuel is better for performance? Chevron 94 or Shell 91?" I decided to take this a step further and test 6 different fuels that performance enthusiasts use in BC. Every fuel we tested had a minimum of 3 pulls on the dyno. We carefully measured and logged the temperatures as well as the ECU adapting to the new fuel we had put in the tank. Here is a list of the fuels that I tested in the previous 2 parts of this comparison:
Chevron 94 mixed with 17% Ethanol
Petro Canada 94 Ultra
Chevron 92 (from Washington State)
Chevron 94
Shell 91
Esso 91
In this video I do a direct comparison of Chevron 94 VS Shell 91. Did my results change from Part 1 & Part 2? Or did we get it right the first time and we know what we were doing?!?! LOL.
