I get asked a lot if in Mordhau it's better to play in first or third person. My answers, as you can probably guess from watching my Mordhai videos, is that I believe first person is the optimal way to play Mordhau, but it will all depend on your personal preferences.

How to make Mordhau third person? Hit "P" on your keyboard.

Here's my list of pros and cons to playing Mordhau in third person, instead of first person.

👍Pros to playing in Third Person in Mordhau:
Better Awareness
Easier to Manipulate Swings
You Can Enjoy Seeing Your Armor in Action

👎Cons to playing in Third Person in Mordhau:
Harder to Judge Distances (particularly with short weapons)
Harder to Read Enemies
Less Precise Ranged Aiming

You'll see some of the cons in action in today's Mordhau gameplay video. I misjudge swings left and right (literally lol), and I pick up a bow and it feels utterly alien to be using it in third-person.

Like I said, this is going to be a personal preference situation, but in my opinion, first person is the way to play Mordhau.
