In CRUELLA, did you notice that there are some things from old movies that are no longer used?
The classic image of Cruella De Vil has her smoking a large cheroot. That element is missing from this version, as Disney has banned characters being shown smoking in its films since 2007.
Also Cruella has a genuine friendship with Horace and Jasper in this film, even calling them her family, unlike previous incarnations that depict her treating them as inferiors and calling them bumbling idiots.
