Skeleton athlete Martins Dukurs from Latvia celebrated his first victory in the 2021/2022 Olympic season at the BMW IBSF World Cup in Altenberg. Local hero Axel Jungk (GER) finished second, 0.19 seconds behind, ahead of team mate Christopher Grotheer (GER, 0.41 seconds back).
