TEXT GUIDE (if you didnt understand something)
Today we take a second look at the team I didn my first series 7 review on, the tornadus metagross combo. back then (six months ago), I though this is going to an unbreakable unhealthy metagame combo, but after I played though full season of series 7 and a bit of series 9, I dont think its so overpowered anymore. This is why I decided to take a second, more humble look at this team. Metagross is the main engine of the team, with this EV spread, you should be able to outspeed slower, bulky regieleki under tailwind and go for max quake to not only hit it hard, but also to survive its massively powerfull max lightning, probably boosted by its ally clefairy helping hand. we run iron head for more accurate STAB and defence boosts, stomping tantrum for special defence boost and coverage against electric and fire types, and ice punch for pesky landorus and garchomp. tornadus runs tailwind and icy wind for further speedc ontrol against other tailwind teams, brutal swing to self proc metagrosses weakness policy and more innaccurate hurricane since power gap difference between it and air slash it just too large. it runs focus sash since its weak to so many popolar types like electric and rock slide ._. Tapu Fini and Incineroar make sure we got some defensive backbone on the team, which allows us to have a winnable matchup against trick room teams with glastrier. incineroar parting shots not only physical attackers like the mentioned horse, but also some special like torkoal. incineroar also OHKOs venusaur under sun with its flare blitz, giving us much given flxeibility against sun archetype. Fini can also stall out special attackers in late game like porygon2 with its calm mind + leftovers combo. Regieleki is a great alternative dynamax sweeper that puts fear in archetypes like NUT and other metagross teams. it can also be used as a non dynamax sweeper, this is why we run max speed and not the bulky spread shown in the regieleki focus team guide video. Last but not least, garchomp. this pokemon gives us another option as to self proc metagrosses weakness policy, with bulldoze. it also got breaking swipe to weaken physical attackers like rillaboom or urshifu. With assault vest and max quake, it can become specially defensivelly unbreakable even for attacks like ice beam! This pokemon is invaluable in wolfeys coalossal matchup, dual horse matchup, regieleki matchup, rain matchup, nut core matchup and even more as you can discover in replays section of this video, enjoy!
