Quick comparison video of Arcade1up StarWars pinball and other machines playing the same table. Note that the Legends Pinball is running off a PC - these FX3 tables are not native to the Legends Pinball. The 49" 4K screen is mounted to our Transforming TV Stand. It is only running on a GTX1050 card, so setting are actually quite low.
We just received the A1up table a few hours ago, but here are some quick thoughts:
1. The A1up solenoids are better than the exciters in the Legends, but not an exceptional amount better. Basically, they make a crisper more mechanical sound where the exciters have more bass and are more "thumpy". The exciters do not currently work for PC streamed games on the Legends. We are working on various sound options for our Transforming TV Stand.
2. The screen on the A1up is very small and the resolution is quite poor. The games are still fun to play however, and the overall look and height of the table is very good. The Legends is a bit too short. Our TV Stand is just right :-)
3. The built-in tables on the A1up are more modern than the Legends built-in tables. That will be a matter of personal preference, but only the Legends allows you to add more tables.
4. Basically, both companies are staying true to themselves with these pinball releases: Arcade1up made good looking pinball tales with limited but fun games to play. AtGames has a larger product with much more expandability and functionality. There really is no reason not to buy one of each. But if you can only buy one, the Legends gives the best bang for the buck.
