In this short video I test out the optical flow lens on the SG907 Pro to see how it performs at very low altitudes between 3-5mm in height, outdoors. The RC and FPV transmission wasn't that bad for an area with lots of obstacles around. This time I did hit the HD icon in the App to record the video directly to the SD card at the highest resolution as I mentioned in my previous video of the SG907 Pro. The highest resolution that it was able to record video in, is 2048x1088(pixels) at a frame rate of 24 fps.
Though the gimbal stabilizes the video pretty well, the quality of the video suffers in low light conditions. The video itself is an interpolated/upscaled 1080p resolution at a very slow bitrate, which means you’ll most likely experienced some minor stuttering in the video if you’re using an SD card with a faster write speed then the SG907 Pro can handle. I do recommend using a Class10 SD card and not a U3 because of the drone’s slow video bitrate.
Overall, its a medium quality drone for beginners just starting out at a very cheap price.
