DescriptioTengiz is one of the most prolific oil and gas producing fields in the world today. Operations at Tengizchevroil, or TCO, have been a foundational part of Chevron’s portfolio since the partnership was formed in 1993.
Since its startup, TCO’s facilities have been expanded and optimized to increase production capacity and reliability while improving safety and environmental performance.
Learn about the innovations and progress of two projects now underway to further develop the field – the Wellhead Pressure Management Project and the Future Growth Project. Both projects will help boost daily production to approximately 1 million barrels a day and are on track to deliver first oil in 2022.
