Since everyone is jumping into the bandwagon of 40mm focal length, with Sony, Nikon, Olympus releasing 40mm or equivalent prime lenses, and then there was Ricoh GR IIIx, I thought it would be fun to explore this focal length and take a closer look at what the fuss is all about. I always thought 40mm is a little unusual and awkward, being the typical 28mm and 50mm shooter. I found a cheap used Canon 40mm F2.8 pancake lens and I could not resist trying it on my Canon 5D full frame. Here is my POV street photography video showing you guys how I got some of the shots during a photowalk session.
