I'm excited to finally have a chance to try out an Algae Turf Scrubber! Santa Monica sent me their newest model, the Rain 4 to test out on the reef tank! After talking with a number of other online users who use and love the rain 2 it seems like an extremely efficient nutrient export option. ATS or Algae turf scrubbers pack a lot of nutrient export in a small package which makes them a great option for tight spaces or allows you to free up that large refugium chamber! (cough cough frag rack!)
