중국, 유인우주선 '선저우 11호' 성공적으로 발사
China has launched its manned spacecraft the Shenzhou-11 into orbit.
The rocket carrying two astronauts lifted off from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in western China at 7:30 a.m. on Monday.
Less than 30 minutes afterward,... the Chinese authorities said everything had gone off as planned.
The Shenzhou-11 will dock with the Tiangong-2 space lab on Tuesday,.. and the two astronauts will stay on board for 30 days -- the longest stay in space by Chinese astronauts.
They'll spend the month carrying out medical and space experiments.
China's manned spaceflight program started in 1992 and through it, the country hopes to develop a permanent space station by the early 2020s.
