I spent a few days in March 2022 using these fantastic bird hides in Bulgaria, but was not expecting the snow - which suddenly appeared overnight! The conditions were perfect for bird photos, with some colourful birds to put against the snow. I'm using my Canon 1DX (DSLR) camera with the Canon 400mm f/5.6 Lens. I also try it with the Canon 1.4x Extender, where I show you how to optimise settings, such as ISO, to keep the quality high.
