Here is a Seadoo 300 jet pump that spun off the Impeller Cone (I called it a pump cone in error 🙈 -sorry for that ... but corrected my terminology in the end ) , and in part the Impeller Cone that was spun off contributed to cavitation and caused pit marks in the wear ring (which of the clearance was still within manual spec ) and in turn the cavitation caused a cavitation burn on the impeller .
We proceeded to replace the Wear Ring and Impeller Cone and also lightly smoothed out the marks on the impeller it self .
The jet pump performed well and the PWC was operational within spec once again .
