Welcome to the eco-dec technical support series. In this video, we will guide you through the process of mounting a PTFE gasket on the lid of your solvent recycling system.

Steps Covered:

Apply the glue supplied with the gasket to the lid groove. Apply a sufficient quantity, any excess can be cleaned up afterwards. Smooth the glue with your finger to apply it evenly.
Position one side of the PTFE gasket and apply adhesive to the beveled end.
Start by gluing the end, then place the entire gasket on the lid.
Close the lid and tighten the locking system firmly. Make sure the lid is centered on the tank.
Use a soft hammer to gently tap the lid. This phase is essential to allow the gasket to seat correctly.
Leave the lid on for at least 24 hours to allow the glue to harden completely.
