This tutorial shows the recent method to use the commands Trim and Extend in Autocad 2021.

There is a controversy about this topic.
However it's possible to switch to the method used by default up to Autocad 2020.

Enter the system variable: TRIMEXTENDMODE
TRIMEXTENDMODE = 0 Old method
TRIMEXTENDMODE = 1 New method
