Worried by these happenings, Nanda Gopa and Yasoda consult their Guru Sage Garga, who knew that Lord Krishna was God himself. Sage Garga consoled them and at their request named him Krishna. Krishna would mean that which leads to joy and peace. It also means a boy who is black. The sage also made a horoscope of the boy and read his future. He named Rohini's son Rama.
