The Tamil festival will be hosted by the Canadian Tamil Congress on August 27th and 28th. This is the largest Tamil street festival which will promote diversity by sharing the rich Tamilian culture, its traditional activities and delicious Tamil food with everyone.
The Canadian Tamil Congress aims to develop a sense of understanding between the Tamil community and other communities in Canada. Tamil Festival has been a success for the past 7 years, with their first festival in 2015, attracting a crowd of over 90,000 people in just a 2-day period.
Since its inception, they have had over 250,000 people from all over the world attend the Tamil fest. It is now considered the largest event in the history of East Toronto.
