Karnataka Budget 2023-2024: Basavaraj Bommai, the chief minister of Karnataka, gave a "revenue surplus" budget presentation to the state assembly on Friday. The state budget for the year was submitted by the chief minister for Rs. 3.09 lakh crore. The assembly elections, which are set for three months from now, were Bommai's second state budget speech and the final of the current BJP administration. Cm Bommai presented a budget of Rs. 2,65,720 crore the previous year. A new initiative called "Bhoo Siri" would provide holders of "Kisan Credit Cards" with an additional subsidy of Rs 10,000 in the years 2023–2024. 50 lakh farmers will benefit from the Bhoo Siri initiative.
